Who is Harrison Burkhardt?

I’m Harrison Burkhardt, a senior at Johnston High School who is passionate about helping others learn and succeed. I’ve gained experience working with students of all ages, from guiding young children in educational settings to supporting my peers through challenging coursework. Growing up with two parents who are teachers, I’ve been surrounded by education my entire life, shaping my approach to learning and teaching. At school, I’m actively involved in leadership, music, athletics, and academic programs, which have taught me discipline, teamwork, and strong communication skills—qualities I bring to every tutoring session.

Harrison’s Qualifications

  • I’ve maintained a 4.00 GPA in rigorous coursework, earning a perfect ACT score (36) and a 1540 SAT. I scored 5s on AP Biology, Chemistry, Language & Composition, World History, U.S. History, Government, and Calculus BC, earning AP Scholar with Distinction honors. I’ve also received three consecutive Academic Letter Awards, reflecting my consistent commitment to excellence.

  • As National Honor Society President and Student Council President, I’ve led initiatives that strengthen my school community while building strong organizational and mentorship skills. I also captain my mock trial team, guiding case preparation and competition strategy, and serve as a section leader in show choir, helping others grow musically and perform confidently. These roles have shaped me into a collaborative leader who communicates clearly and adapts to different learning styles—skills I bring to every tutoring session.
